Here are this week's updates on the Islanders prospects:

LIUKAS KEEPS PRODUCING

Eetu Liukas has been riding the hot hand as of late as the 19-year-old left winger extended his point streak to four games, with seven points (4G, 3A) over that span. Last week, Liukas had a goal and an assist in TPS U20's 4-1 win over Assat, two goals in a 6-2 win over Tuto and an assist in a 6-3 loss to Ilves. In the process, Liukas brought his season total up to 18 points (9G, 9A) through 10 games with TPS' u20 squad over in Finland's SM-sarja U20 league.
The Islanders' 2021 fifth rounder (157th overall) had also appeared in 11 games this season with the TPS' top club in Liiga, Finland's top-tier professional hockey league. During those 11 appearances, Liukas has notched one goal and 10 PIMs.

DUFOUR'S POINT STREAK ENDS AT NINE GAMES

It's been quite the impressive start to the season for William Dufour, who had his nine-game point streak come to an end on Oct. 31.
The Islanders' 2020 fifth rounder (152nd overall) went on a scoring rampage with his new team, the Saint John Sea Dogs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, as he totaled 18 points (10G, 8A) in 12 games. His 10 goals are tied for the second most in the entirety of the QMJHL.
Prior to snapping his nine-game point streak, Dufour recorded a three-point (1G, 2A) outing on Oct. 29 in Saint John's 4-3 loss to Charlottetown. The 19-year-old right winger opened the game's scoring as he provided a strike on the power play for his third PPG of the season.
Dufour and the Sea Dogs are ranked in eighth place in the Eastern Conference of the 'Q' with a 5-5-2 record.
