Welcome to the Islanders Prospect Report, a weekly roundup of the Islanders' junior, collegiate and European prospects. Visit our In the System page for more prospect content.
Here are this week's updates on Islanders prospects:

Maggio became the eighth player in franchise history to hit the 50-goal threshold, and first since Steve Ott in the 2000-01 season. The Islanders' 2022 fifth-round draft pick (142nd overall) tacked on his 51st on Friday, scoring against the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in a 3-0 shutout win.

In the process, he also extended his point streak to 11 games, with 19 points (9G, 10A) over that span.
Only three games remain for the playoff-bound Spitfires, who rank first in the Western Conference with 90 points. Maggio was an asset in last year's postseason, putting up 17 points (7G, 10A) through the 25-game run, though Windsor fell 6-1 to the Hamilton Bulldogs in Game 7 of the 2022 OHL Championship Series.
Maggio and the Spitfires will conclude the regular season at home on Saturday, welcoming in the London Knights at 7:05 p.m.

FINLEY FIRES AT FORMER TEAM

Quinn Finley was an active contributor in a 7-1 win over his former club, the Madison Capitols.
The 18-year-old has been consistently producing points since being traded to the Chicago Steel - but made sure to hit the scoresheet against his former team on Sunday - scoring a goal and recording an assist in the win. Finley found the back of the net to extend his team's lead to 4-1 in the second period.

The Islanders' 2022 third-round pick (78th overall) is producing over a point-per-game for Chicago, tallying 29 points (10G, 19A) over 22 games played. Finley is having a breakout year overall in his third season in the USHL, recording 56 points (20G, 36A) this season, combining totals from both clubs.

GEORGE LIGHTS THE LAMP

Defenseman Isaiah George is producing offense for the London Knights, matching his career-high with his sixth goal of the season last week.
The Islanders' 2022 fourth-rounder (98th overall) is in his second OHL season with the Knights, and has 21 points (6G, 15A), closing in on his career-high, 23 points, set last season.
The defenseman contributed a goal in his team's comeback effort on Wednesday.

The Knights fell 7-4 to the Storm after finding themselves in a 4-0 hole after the first 25:16 of the matchup. The Knights retaliated with four consecutive goals - including a goal from George - to knot the game at four apiece, but the Storm regained their momentum and pulled away with three more goals to win 7-4.
George and the Knights clinched a playoff spot, ranking second in the Western Conference with 88 points. Their regular season wraps up on Sunday with a matchup against the Kitchener Rangers at 6 p.m. on home ice.

JEFFERIES AND MERRIMACK QUALIFY FOR NCAA TOURNAMENT

Alex Jefferies and the Merrimack Warriors advanced to the NCCA tournament for the second time in team history.
Merrimack finished as the number two seed in Hockey East with a record of 16-8-0 (W-L-OTL), while they went 23-13-1 overall in the NCAA. Merrimack lost 3-2 in the Hockey East championship to Boston University, who also qualified for the NCAA tournament.
Jefferies will compete in his first NCAA tournament after finishing the season with 41 points (14G, 27A) in his junior year.
Merrimack will take on Quinnipiac on Friday at Total Mortgage Arena for a 5:30 p.m. tilt. If Merrimack wins on Friday, they will take on the winner of Harvard vs. Ohio State.
