Sorokin's shutout streak ended at 213:51 - the second best in KHL playoff history - as Jokerit broke through for a 2-1 win in game three. Sorokin was 90 seconds shy of the KHL playoff shutout streak, held by former Isles goalie Mikko Koskinen (215:21).
The Islanders' 2014 third-round pick picked up another win on Tuesday, as CKSA beat Jokerit 2-1 in game four. CKSA is one win away from advancing to the Western Conference final.
Sorokin's playoff performance has placed him leading the KHL in goals-against average (0.48), save percentage (.976), and shutouts (5).

GOLYSHEV ELIMINATED FROM KHL PLAYOFFS:

Anatoly Golyshev and Avtomobilist were eliminated from the KHL playoffs last week, falling to Metallurg Magnitogorsk in six games in the quarterfinals.
The teams split the first four games of the series, with Metallurg taking game one 3-2 and game three 3-1, while Avtomobilist won games two and four 2-1. That was as close as Avtomobilist got, losing the next two games 4-1 and 3-1.
Golyshev recorded up three points (2G, 1A) in the six-game series
