The Canadian junior season is over, as the WHL, OHL and QMJHL wrapped up their regular seasons last week.
The playoffs begin this week and all three Isles junior prospects - Kieffer Bellows, David Quenneville and Arnaud Durandeau - are going to the postseason.
Bellows was an offensive force for Portland this season, Quenneville was the WHL's most offensive defenseman, while Durandeau had a career year. Take a look back at their seasons and preview the first round of the CHL postseason in this week's Islanders Prospect Report.

QUENNEVILLE LEADS WHL DEFENSEMEN IN SCORING:

David Quennevile (D): GP - 70, G - 26, A - 54, P - 80
David Quenneville had a career-year in Medicine Hat, setting new highs in goals (26), assists (54), points (80) and games played (70).
Quenneville finished the season as the WHL's highest-scoring defenseman, finishing seven points ahead of the next closest blueliner, and was tied for 28th in league scoring. Quenneville tied forward Mark Rassell for Medicine Hat's scoring lead and became the franchise's all-time scoring leader for defensemen this season.
The Islanders' 2016 seventh-round pick had one assist in three games last week, halting a five-game point streak.

ROUND 1: MEDICINE HAT VS BRANDON
Medicine Hat went 36-28-8 this season to win the WHL's Central Division. The Tigers will play the Brandon Wheat Kings in the first round of the WHL playoffs, beginning on Friday. BELLOWS HITS 40-GOAL MARK:

Kieffer Bellows (LW): GP - 56, G - 41, A - 33, P - 74
Bellows first season in the WHL was a success, as the Islanders 2016 first-round pick finished the year with 41 goals and 74 points in 56 games with the Portland Winterhawks.
Bellows hit the 40-goal mark last week, scoring his 40th and 41st goals as part of a five-point week. He finished tied for 15th in the league in goals, despite taking a leave of absence to play for Team USA in the World Junior Hockey Championships in December.
Bellows finished second on the Winterhawks in goals - first in game-winning goals (7) - and third in points. He also strung together a 12-game point streak in October-November, as well as a nine-and six-game point streak later in the year.

ROUND 1: PORTLAND VS SPOKANE:
Bellows helped the Winterhawks go 44-22-1-5 (W-L-OTL-SOL) this season to finish second in the US Division. They'll face the Spokane Chiefs in the first round of the WHL playoffs. Portland won the season series 5-2-1, but while Portland dominated this matchup in the first half of the season - going 5-0 and outscoring Spokane 24-6 - Spokane has won the last three meetings.
Bellows had five goals and three assists in six games against the Chiefs this season.

Durandeau pieced together a career-high, eight-game point streak (3G, 9A) in February.

ROUND 1: HALIFAX VS BAIE-COMEAU
