William Dufour and the Drummondville Voltigeurs returned to action in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) after Quebec-based teams were sidelined for two months out of precaution for COVID-19.
In his first time playing since November, Dufour jumped right back into his game as he extended his goal streak to six games. The 18-year-old winger scored his seventh goal of the season and Drummondville's sole goal of the match in their 3-1 loss to Val-d'Or on Jan. 22.
Dufour's goal streak ended at six games, but he furthered his point streak to seven games with a three-point outing on Jan. 24 in Drummondville's 4-1 win over Gatineau. With his three helpers against Gatineau, Dufour earned the second star of the game honors.
Dufour has 11 points (7G, 4A) during his seven-game point streak.
So far through 10 games in his third season in the QMJHL, the Islanders' 2020 fifth rounder (152nd overall) has totaled a team-leading 14 points (7G, 7A). Dufour and Drummondville are ranked 10th overall in the QMJHL with a record of 6-5-1.

LJUNGKRANTZ SCORES HAT TRICK, OT WINNER

Alex Ljungkrantz has been an offensive force since joining Stromsbro IF of Hockeyettan, the third-division of Swedish professional hockey, where he was loaned to on Jan. 4.
On Jan. 24, Ljungkrantz recorded a hat trick and scored the overtime winner in Stromsbro's 5-4 OT victory over Hammarby. The Islanders' 2020 third rounder (90th overall) now has eight points (5G, 3A) through six games with Stromsbro.

In the first game of the series on Friday, Jan. 23, Adams dished out two assists en route to North Dakota's 4-1 win. The following night on Jan. 24, Adams scored his sixth goal of the season and the insurance goal in North Dakota's 5-0 blanking over CC.
