WILDE SIGNS THREE-YEAR, ENTRY-LEVEL DEAL:

DOBSON, SKAREK INVITED TO WJC CAMPS

Noah Dobson was one of 34 players invited to Team Canada's 2019 World Juniors Selection Camp on Monday. Dobson, the Islanders' 2018 first-round pick (12th overall), is one of 12 defensemen to be invited to World Juniors tryout camp. Dobson has 15 points (8G, 7A) in 26 games this season for the Acadie-Bathurst Titan.
Per TSN, the final roster is expected to be named on Dec. 14. Preliminary action will take place from Dec. 19-23 and the tournament officially gets underway runs from Dec. 26-Jan. 5 in Vancouver and Victoria, BC.

Jakub Skarek was named to the Czech Republic's preliminary camp roster on Monday. Skarek, the Islanders' 2018 third-round pick (72nd overall), is one of three goalies named to the preliminary roster. Skarek is 5-5-5 this season with a 1.90 goals-against average, a .920 save percentage and one shutout, his first in Finland's Liiga.

SOROKIN NAMED KHL GOALIE OF THE MONTH:

Ilya Sorokin was named the KHL's best goalie for the month of November, as the Russian league released its players of the month on Saturday.
Sorokin went 6-0-0 with four shutouts, including a 246:55 shutout streak - the longest the KHL this season - in November, allowing two goals in the process. His numbers were also superb, as the Isles 2014 third-round pick (78th overall) boasted a .984 save percentage and a .033 goals-against average. Sorokin was also named to the KHL All-Star Game this month and recorded an assist against Vityaz.


GOLYSHEV HAS FIVE-POINT WEEK:

Anatoly Golyshev recorded five points (2G, 3A) in three games last week for Avtomobilist. Golyshev exploded with a season-high, four-point game (1G, 3A) in Saturday's 7-2 win over Barys.
Golyshev, the Islanders' 2016 fourth-round pick (95th overall) has 26 points (13G, 13A) in 30 games.
