WILDE HAS 7-POINT WEEK:

The Islanders' 2018 second-round pick (41st overall) also had the game-winner in Saginaw's 6-2 win over Windsor on Friday, giving him three winners this season.
In total, Wilde has 33 points (9G, 24A) in 27 games this season, tied for second on Saginaw in scoring. Wilde is fourth among OHL defenseman in points this season.

SOROKIN MAKES SAVE OF THE YEAR CANDIDATE AT CHANNEL ONE CUP:

Ilya Sorokin delivered a sensational save during Russia's game against the Czech Republic Channel One Cup on Saturday.
Words don't do it justice, so make sure to watch the save. In essence, Sorokin twists around and dives backwards to get his stick down and rob a sure goal.
Sorokin is having another stellar season for CSKA in the KHL and his play extended to the Channel One Cup. The Islanders' 2014 third-round pick was named Russia's player of the game in the 7-2 win over the Czechs and was named the top goalie of the Channel One Cup.


JENKINS HAS 5-POINT WEEK:

Blade Jenkins picked up five points (1G, 4A) last week for the Saginaw Spirit.
Jenkins had a three-point night in Saginaw's 6-2 win over Windsor on Friday, earning second star honors. The Islanders 2018 fifth-round pick (134th overall) dished two assists in Saginaw's 7-3 win over Sarnia, including the primary helper on Bode Wilde's game-winning goal.
Jenkins' point streak ended at six games, as he was held off the scoresheet in Sunday's 4-3 OT loss to Windsor. He has 33 points (12G, 21A) this season, tied for second in Saginaw scoring.
