Bellows came back with a bang on Wednesday, scoring two goals and earning the first star in Portland's 3-0 shutout against the Everett Silvertips. Bellows' assist on Friday extended his point streak but Portland ultimately fell to the Tri-City Americans with a 6-3 loss. Saturday's rematch against Tri-City brought two more goals by Bellows, along with another first star and a 3-2 win for Portland.
The Islanders' 2016 first-rounder is second in team goals (26) and third in team scoring (52) in 37 games so far this season.

QUENNEVILLE MATCHES CAREER-HIGH:

David Quenneville notched his 21st goal on Tuesday, to match his career-high 59 points, set in the 2016-17 season. Quenneville's came on the power play in the Medicine Hat Tigers' 5-2 loss to the Kelowna Rockets. The defenseman is second in team scoring, goals (21) and assists (38) in 53 games so far this season.
Quenneville leads all WHL defensemen in goals (21) and is tied for the WHL lead in points (59) among blue liners.

KOIVULA RECORDS GOAL AND ASSIST IN WIN:

Otto Koivula broke out of a nine-game point drought with a goal and an assist in Ilves' 6-3 win over the Pori Aces on Saturday. Koivula netted his fifth goal of the season, followed by his 18th assist.
The Islanders' 2016 fourth- round pick is fourth in team assists (18) and tied for fifth in team scoring, with 23 points in 43 games so far this season.
