GAME NOTES | MORNING SKATE UPDATES
The New York Islanders capped a 3-0-0 road trip with a 6-3 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday night. Now the home-and-home set shifts to Brooklyn, as the two teams meet again on Thursday (7 p.m., MSG+).
The Islanders will also debut their new third jerseys tonight.

ISLANDERS NOTES:

-- The Islanders swept a three-game Metropolitan Division road trip and have earned points in four straight games (3-0-1).
-- Robin Lehner left Tuesday's game with a strain and missed Wednesday's practice. The Isles goalie is considered day-to-day and could miss Thursday's game. Christopher Gibson was an emergency recall from Bridgeport on Wednesday. UPDATE: Greiss will start. Gibson will back up.
-- Cal Clutterbuck is a possibility to play on Thursday after missing two games with an upper-body injury. UPDATE: Clutterbuck will play Thursday.
-- Tom Kuhnhackl was loaned to Bridgeport on Wednesday.
-- Josh Bailey is riding a six-game point streak.
-- Thursday is Breast Cancer Awareness Night. Proceeds from tickets will benefit Susan G. Komen Center in NYC.

Islanders top line has success


PENGUINS NOTES:

-- Kris Letang missed Tuesday's game with a lower-body injury, but practiced on Wednesday. His status for Thursday's game should become clearer after the team's morning skate.
-- Derick Brassard, who also missed Tuesday's game with a lower-body injury, did not practice on Wednesday and will not play on Thursday.
-- Evgeni Malkin is on an eight-game point streak. Sidney Crosby has points in five straight.
