Philadelphia is on the verge of clinching a playoff spot, which is remarkable given that the Flyers lost 10 games in a row (0-5-5) from mid-November to early December. The Flyers were 8-11-7 after their 10th loss and are now 40-25-14, including 5-0-3 over their last eight games.
Claude Giroux leads the Flyers with a career-high 95 points (29G, 66A) and is attempting to hit 100 points for the first time in his career. Giroux is on a seven-game point streak (3G, 9A) and has points in 15 of his last 16 games. The Flyers' captain hasn't gone more than one game without a point since a two-game stretch from Feb. 3-6. Giroux has 37 points (14G, 23A) since Feb. 6.
Michael Raffl is expected to return to the Flyers' lineup on Tuesday. Raffl has been out since March 18 with an upper-body injury.
