The New York Islanders will head to Boston to take on the Bruins at TD Garden on Tuesday night.
The Islanders enter Tuesday's game after a 3-0 shutout loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday. While Saturday was a setback, the Islanders knocked off one of the NHL's best teams with a 6-4 win over the New Jersey Devils on Friday.

This is the first game of a five-game road trip for the Islanders that includes games in Vegas, Arizona and Colorado.
"We know that every game is a challenge," Head Coach Lane Lambert said. "I don't think it's any different than it normally is, but I think it's also not a bad time to get on the road and play some games."
The Bruins have been the NHL's best team to start the season and have not lost at home in regulation yet this year, posting an 14-0-1 record at TD Garden. They beat the Vegas Golden Knights 3-1 on Sunday after a 4-3 loss to the Arizona Coyotes on Friday.
While the Isles have won six straight (regular season) home games against Boston they are 0-3-1 in their last four regular season road games in Boston.
MORNING SKATE UPDATE: Anthony Beauvillier and Kyle Palmieri will be game-time decisions. David Krejci will miss his second consecutive game for the Bruins.

ISLANDERS NOTES:
  • The Islanders were shut out for the third time this season on Saturday against the Hurricanes. The Islanders two previous shutout losses were at the hands of the Detroit Red Wings and Arizona Coyotes.
    - Sixteen shots on goal were a season-low and tied for the second-fewest shots on goal in a game in the NHL this season. The last time the Islanders were held to 16 shots or fewer was March 19, 2019 against the Boston Bruins.
    - Anthony Beauvillier missed Saturday's game after suffering an injury on Friday against the New Jersey Devils. He practiced on Monday and is traveling with the team to Boston and said he could be in the lineup.

    - Brock Nelson saw his career-best seven game point streak come to an end on Saturday against Carolina. Nelson scored five goals and three assists in those seven games.
BRUINS NOTES:
  • David Krejci returned to the NHL this year after playing a season in the Czech Extraliga in 2021-22. Krejci has 21 points (8G, 13A) in 23 games this season, but was out on Sunday against the Vegas Golden Knights.
    - Linus Ullmark leads the NHL in with a 1.77 GAA and a .941 save percentage. He has 16 wins this season and just one loss in 19 appearances.
    - David Pastrnak leads the Bruins in scoring with 38 points (19G, 19A). The 2019-20 Rocket Richard winner is tied for the 5th most goals in the NHL this year. Pastrnak is on a five-game point streak with six points (5G, 1A) in those five games.
    - Taylor Hall has six points in his last five games (3G, 3A). Hall is tied for second on the team in scoring with 21 points (11G, 10A) in 27 games.
    - Hampus Lindholm is scoring at a career-best pace this season, with 20 points (4G, 16A) already in 27 games. Lindholm's career-high in points is 34, which he accomplished in 2014-15 with the Anaheim Ducks.
    - The Bruins lead the NHL in both goals for per game (3.89) and goals against per game (2.11).
