How did you get to where you are now in the sports industry?
Hard work and dedication. My journey to get to where I am now looks a little different than normal. My background ranges from administration to security to sales. I grew up playing sports and it has always had a big impact on my life. I realized later in life how much I missed sports and how much I wanted to work in the sports industry. I got my foot into the door by getting a part time job with the Vegas Golden Knights selling the 51/49 raffles. From there, I ended up networking and getting a job with the SF Giants selling groups and suites. Being born and raised in Vegas, I knew this is ultimately where I wanted to be. Patience, perseverance, and a positive attitude helped lead me to where I am now working full time for the Vegas Golden Knights.

What is one of the greatest challenges of being a woman in sports?
Visibility & Respect. It is difficult for women in the sports industry simply because it is a male dominated field. It has always been that women must put in twice the work just to get the same recognition and respect as males in sports.
What are the most rewarding things about working in sports?
The relationships you build and the many opportunities it brings. Going to all the games to cheer on your favorite team is just an added bonus! 😉
Any advice for other women trying to break into the sports world?
Don't give up, don't take anything personally, and don't take no for an answer. Hard work and dedication are key. Keep your head up, keep grinding and stay positive! "It's hard to beat a person who never gives up" - Babe Ruth
