The Vegas Golden Knights (19-6-1) picked up a 2-1 win against the San Jose Sharks (11-12-3) on Monday night at T-Mobile Arena.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
Midway through the first period, Max Pacioretty wired home ha power-play goal to give the Golden Knights a 1-0 lead. Neither side found the back of the net in the middle frame, but it took Mark Stone just 1:02 to extend the Vegas lead in the third period. A Timo Meier goal got San Jose on the board in the final five minutes, but Marc-Andre Fleury locked down the Vegas net for a 2-1 victory.
