HOW IT WENT DOWN
After a scoreless opening frame, Shea Theodore danced around four Canucks to move in on Thatcher Demko and rip a shot under the crossbar to make it 1-0 Vegas. The lead lasted for just 24 seconds before Brock Boeser scored to level the score at 1-1. In the third, Elias Pettersson deflected a puck through Robin Lehner to give the Canucks a 2-1 edge and they held that lead through the final horn. The Golden Knights outshout Vancouver, 43-17.
