Hockey Canada announced Thursday a list of 46 players invited to the National Junior Team's selection camp starting Nov. 16 to finalize the team's roster for the 2021 IIHF World Junior Championship in Edmonton.
Vegas Golden Knights draft picks Peyton Krebs, Kaedan Korczak and Lukas Cormier were among the players invited to the camp. Each of the three players are looking to crack the team's roster for the first time as the three young players look for their first taste of World Junior Championship action.

Krebs, selected by the Golden Knights in the first round of the 2019 draft (17th overall), was with Vegas during the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs in Edmonton. He did not appear in any games for the Golden Knights but was among the taxi squad players who were ready if called upon during the postseason. In just 38 games for the Winnipeg Ice in 2019-20, Krebs piled up 60 points (12G, 48A). He captained the Canadian U-18 team in 2019 where he had 10 points (6G, 4A) in seven games.
In 60 games with the Kelowna Rockets of the WHL, Korczak tallied 49 points (11G, 38A) in his third full season of junior hockey. The 2019 second-round pick (41st overall) signed an entry-level contract with the Golden Knights in December of 2019.
Cormier, a 2020 third-round pick of the Golden Knights (68th overall) is in his third season with the Charlottetown Islanders of the QMJHL where he has 11 points (3G, 8A) in seven games this year. He's in his third season in Charlottetown and has been invited to the U-20 World Junior Championship camp for the first time in his career.
The 2020 IIHF World Junior Championship will be held in Edmonton starting Dec. 25. For the first time, the tournament will be held in a "bubble" similar to the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Follow along for updates on the Golden Knights' prospects as they prepare for the international stage.
