The Vegas Golden Knights (21-7-1) saw their five-game win streak ended in a 3-1 loss to the Los Angeles Kings (13-11-6) on Sunday afternoon at Staples Center.

HOW IT WENT DOWN
Both teams got off to a slow start due to strong goaltender play by Marc-Andre Fleury and Calvin Petersen that resulted in a scoreless first period. Los Angeles opened the second frame with two goals to take the 2-0 lead. Tomas Nosek struck late in the third, but Los Angeles answered right back to seal the 3-1 victory.
