HOW IT WENT DOWN
Midway through the first period, Pavel Dorofeyev knocked home his second goal of the season to give Vegas a 1-0 lead. Early in the second, Ivan Barbashev deflected a Shea Theodore shot to put the visitors up by a pair. After Travis Sanheim got the Flyers on the board, Teddy Blueger buried a rebound to reestablish the two-goal lead. Jonathan Marchessault made it a 4-1 game, but Philadelphia fought back as Nick Seeler and Morgan Frost each tallied to bring the score to 4-3. Barbashev tucked home an empty-net goal to seal the 5-3 victory for the Golden Knights.
