VEGAS (September 21, 2026) – The Vegas Golden Knights announced today, September 21, details for the fan experience on Opening Knight presented by Naqvi Injury Law as the team faces the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 7:30 p.m. PT to begin the 2026-27 regular season.
The Gold Carpet presented by Naqvi Injury Law will return to Paramount+ Plaza beginning at 4 p.m. PT on Tuesday. Fans are encouraged to arrive at 3:30 p.m. PT to prepare to welcome players, coaches, broadcasters and members of the VGK cast. Following the Gold Carpet, doors will open at T-Mobile Arena at 6 p.m. PT to officially welcome fans to Season X.
Fans who attend the Gold Carpet will have the opportunity to enter to win tickets to Opening Knight later that evening. A limited quantity of Season X giveaways will be available for the first 500 fans in attendance at the Gold Carpet. Additionally, permanent tattoos will be available free of charge from Revolt Tattoos on Paramount+ Plaza.
On Tuesday evening, the final moments leading into the game will feature an all-new version of the award-winning Golden Knights in-arena pregame show. Fans should be in their seats no later than 7:30 p.m. PT. The first 10,000 fans in attendance at Opening Knight will receive a Season X patch presented by Naqvi Injury Law and can have a patch pressed on their jersey or other items as requested for $10 per patch.
Fans unable to join the festivities in person can tune into The Spot-Vegas 34 and KnightTime+ at 7 p.m. PT for a special 30-minute pregame report live from the arena featuring Golden Knights broadcasters. Dave Goucher, Shane Hnidy, Daren Millard, Gary Lawless, Darren Eliot, Jeff Sharples and Jamie Hersch will all participate in the show from T-Mobile Arena. Starting at 7:30 p.m. PT, the game between Vegas and Chicago can be viewed exclusively on ESPN.
Tuesday's game will also be available on the radio on the VGK Radio Network presented by Lee's Discount Liquor at 107.9 KVGS FM with Dan D’Uva and Gary Lawless, and in Spanish on 105.7 KOAS FM with Jesus Lopez and Alex Romo.
