Meet the Artist: Esperanza Merritt

Esperanza Merritt is an artist and designer shaped by her Salvadoran roots and Nashville upbringing. Her work centers on themes of healing, growth, and honoring the places and stories that shape us. Through design, illustration, and painting, she creates pieces that weave in her own story and become part of a shared journey when they find a home in someone’s life.

Esperanza Merritt es una artista y diseñadora influenciada por sus raíces salvadoreñas y su crianza en Nashville. Su obra gira en torno a los temas de la sanación, el crecimiento y el reconocimiento de los lugares e historias que nos forman. A través del diseño, la ilustración y la pintura, crea piezas que entrelazan su propia historia y se convierten en parte de un recorrido compartido cuando encuentran un lugar en la vida de alguien.
