Today, the Philadelphia Flyers announced the return of the Emmy Award-winning series, The Flyers Way presented by Xfinity. The behind-the-scenes docuseries from the club’s in-house content shop, On the Fly Productions, returns for a second season and will follow the Orange and Black throughout the 2026-27 season and will grant Flyers fans an all access pass for key behind-the-scenes moments coming off an exciting end to the 2025-26 season. Season 2 premieres tonight at 7:00 p.m. following The Flyers Way winning a 2026 Mid-Atlantic Regional Emmy Award for Post-Produced or Edited–Single Sports Program.

We’re incredibly lucky to have a partner in Xfinity who shares our commitment to bring top-tier storytelling to Flyers fans around the world and are looking forward to documenting what is sure to be another exciting Flyers season.”
Season 1 brought fans behind the curtain for key Flyers storylines and moments throughout the year, including Porter Martone’s journey from draft day to NHL debut, Rick Tocchet taking the reins as head coach, Trevor Zegras and Dan Vladar’s first seasons in Philadelphia, and the team’s ultimate return to the postseason.
Season 2 opens at Flyers Training Center as Coach Tocchet and his staff prepare for their second season leading the Orange and Black, inviting viewers into the meeting room for critical offseason conversations. Episode 1 will follow the players through training camp and an expedited preseason schedule as they prepare to kick off the 2026-27 season and reunite with playoff foes Pittsburgh and Carolina. Just like season 1, episodes will drop throughout the season and will be available to stream for free on the team’s YouTube channel and watch through Xfinity’s internet, mobile, and television platforms.
