1. SATURDAY MATINEE
The Flyers come into today looking to string back-to-back wins for the first time in nearly three weeks (Mar. 27-29)... Its the second straight weekend that the Flyers have had back-to-back home games - they split last weekend series winning the first and dropping the second... The Caps have a 5-3-2 in afternoon starts and after starting out with five straight losses, they have won five straight daytime start games... The Flyers only victory against the Caps this season came in a noon start time on Feb. 7 (7-4 at WSH).

They lead the NHL in goals scored per-game on the road at 3.50, and are tied for the second-most road wins in the NHL (14) and have third-best win percentage on the road (.682)... They have won four of their last five on the road... The Caps dropped their last game, 5-2 vs. Buffalo on Thursday, and own a bounce-back record of 9-5-1 in games following a loss this year.

After four straight regulation wins against the Caps, the Flyers have now suffered four straight regulation losses to Washington - the Caps have not won five straight in regulation against the Flyers since a skid from Feb. 10 - Dec. 5, 1991... FLYERS (C: #14 - Sean Couturier)
Couturier has recorded at least one point in every game of the season series against the Caps, posting seven points (3g-4a) in five games while also having a +5 rating... He also has a five-game point streak against the Caps... Despite missing 11 games due to injury, Couturier is T-2nd on the team in goals (13) and T-3rd in overall scoring with 31 points in 32 games.
