Join the Philadelphia Flyers Ice Team!
Registration for the 2026-27 Ice Team Skaters audition is now open.
We are seeking energetic, engaging candidates with a strong skating background to join our team. The audition process will include interviews and on-ice skating drills. Please come prepared in athletic attire and bring your own skates.
Qualified candidates must be at least 18 years old, have a positive and outgoing personality, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills. Candidates should have a flexible schedule to accommodate Flyers home games during the 2026–27 season, along with reliable transportation.
The Flyers Ice Team are an integral part of the Flyers game-night experience, creating the important home ice advantage by hyping the crowd, interacting with fans, assisting with ice maintenance, and in-game promotions. The Ice Team also serve as ambassadors for the team off the ice, making several community appearances at schools, hospitals, charity events, and more throughout the season.

Ice Team Skaters Audition
Date: Wednesday, July 8th
Time: 6:00pm-7:30pm | Check in will start at 5:45pm
Cost: $50 per applicant.
Location: Flyers Training Center, 601 Laurel Oak Road, Voorhees Township, NJ 08043
Description: For applicants who are auditioning for the Skater position on the Ice Team. The audition will consist of a skating skill evaluation (forward skating, backward skating, stopping, forward cross-overs in a circle, backward cross overs in a circle, etc.) and short introductions and individual interviews. Applicants must bring their own skates.
Ice Team Dancers Workshop
Date: Wednesday, July 29th
Time: 6:00pm-8:00pm | Check in will start at 5:30pm
Location: Xfinity Mobile Arena, 3601 S Broad st, Philadelphia, PA 19148
Description: The Dancers Workshop offers an inside look at what it’s like to be part of the Flyers Ice Team. Participants will learn game-day style choreography on the Xfinity Mobile Concourse, taught by current team members. Featuring both sideline choreography and a full dance combo, there is something for dancers of all levels. The workshop will conclude with a brief Q&A featuring Ice Team members and the team coach, providing valuable insights and tips for future auditions.
There will be no open dancer auditions for the 2026-27 Flyers Ice Team.
Pre-registration for both the workshop and audition are preferred and encouraged.
