Alex Chiasson and Dougie Hamilton scored for Calgary while David Pastrnak had a pair and Brad Marchand, David Backes and Matt Beleskey also tallied for Boston.
Chad Johnson, who got the start in net with Brian Elliott sidelined due to illness, made 27 stops while at the other end of the ice, Boston backup Anton Khudobin turned aside 21 of the pucks he faced.
Chiasson opened the scoring at the 9:23 mark of the first, when he collected a puck behind the net and spun out to the side of the crease and jammed the puck past Khudobin.
Matt Stajan recorded an assist on the play for his 400th career point.
Just over two minutes later, Pastrnak swooped into the Calgary zone and fired a shot from the right faceoff dot that went five-hole on Johnson.
Marchand put the Bruins up by one at 6:04 of the second period when he collected a loose puck after a miscue between Johnson and defenceman Matt Bartkowski and slid it into the yawning cage.
Hamilton knotted it at two 1:04 later with a you-don't-see-that-everyday goal when his wrister from the redline sailed over Khudibin's right pad.
Backes restored the Bruins lead when he one-timed a cross-ice pass from David Krejci at the top of the left faceoff circle that beat Johnson high glove-side.
A turnover early in the third period lead to a 2-on-0 Bruins rush with Beleskey converting on a pass from Ryan Spooner at the 3:36 mark.
Pastrnak scored an empty-netter with less than 10 seconds to play to round out the scoring.
