SUTTER ON MOMENTUM ON THE ROAD:

ON WINNING FOUR OF LAST FIVE:

"I think getting Chris Tanev back helps. Ruzicka stepping his game up a little bit at home helped us with our lines. We need young guys to be better player players, and that was one of them. And Tanny steadies the younger defence down."

ON TANEV:

"They haven't played much together (Tanev and Dennis Gilbert), but at the same time, his minutes give us stability, right? We've been talking about our penalty-killing having to get better. A lot of it comes from those positions. Chris is important in that."

"There are areas we want to get better at"

KADRI ON THE TRIP SO FAR:

"I think we knew all along if we stayed with it, we'd get some breaks and bounces eventually, and that's what's happened. We're playing some good hockey and we want to continue that."

ON WHAT'S BEEN WORKING OF LATE:

First and third periods are key. Getting off to good starts and finishing games strong are probably two of the most important parts. A lot of times on the road when you're up a goal, the home team's going to push and you have to sustain a push and push back. So, I think we've done a good job of that."

ON SCORING THE FIRST GOAL:

"Just gives you some extra juice, I think, some extra energy. Any time you can start with the first goal, it's kind of a momentum boost for your team and just continue to keep building on that. Everyone knows the percentages of scoring first and the opportunity that gives you, so we're always trying to get the first one."

"We're playing some good hockey"

WEEGAR ON BACK-TO-BACK WINS:

"Gives us a lot of confidence, and confidence is big in this league. That's what you need to get your wins. We put together a couple wins, but I think we need to carry this on tonight. A big team, a big opponent that we're playing tonight that's got some key players and we've just got to play our game, keep playing within our system and good things will happen."

"Confidence is big in this league"

ON FINISHING THE TRIP STRONG:

"We started kind of slow on the road and we have a chance here to make it a great trip. We obviously have a lot of work to do. It's going to be three hard teams to get wins on, but I truly believe that we've played some good hockey, our effort's been there every game. If we stick to our game plan, I think we'll be OK."

ON PAIRING WITH ZADOROV:

"He's playing great hockey right now, so for me, it's pretty easy to play with a guy that has a lot of confidence. He's obviously comfortable back there. And just feed into his game. He obviously likes to play physical, likes to handle the puck a bit right now, and likes to jump up into the rush. I want to keep feeding into his confidence and I think he's doing the same with me, too. He's helping me out. He's a loud guy out there. He's a pretty funny guy and I think that makes the relationship open. We can be hard on each other, but also give each other confidence here and there."
