"You don't take it for granted. Good to come back to my hometown and see the family and a couple of friends last night. You just try to cherish all these moments because you never know when the last one will be. Got a lot of friends and family coming tonight, I think like 50 postgame passes or something, so excited to see them all but, more importantly, excited to get back on the right track with the team and get back in the win column."

GILBERT ON HIS PHYSICAL PLAY:

"That's a big part of my game, it always has been at every level. Just trying to create some energy for the bench and for the guys."

"It's always been about consistentcy. You just got to build on what you're doing and as you build your game can grow. So it's a good start but definitely things I can do better but it was a good foundation start last game so just keep it going and build on it."
