"As a goalie, you have the first shot to give the team the lead because how I take it is they go first, and if they don't score, we're up 1-0. That's how I take it. Johnny and Chucky did a really good job. They're really good in the shootout in practice too and they're really good at it. I'm really happy that they scored both of them."

AC RYAN HUSKA ON BLAKE COLEMAN:

"You expect everybody to score. That's the mindset that we want our team to have this year. With a guy like Blake, there are so many intangibles that come along with him. The penalty kill, he's gritty, he's hard, he can play against top lines, he can check the right way, but he can also score. As much you want to say that guys understand it's not easy to score, it does bother them. They know that they have a role to play - but they have to contribute. And when they're getting chances and they're not going in, they start lying awake at night thinking about the chances they missed. It's nice to see them get rewarded."

ON MATTHEW'S TKACHUK'S SO WINNER:

"He went with a lot of speed, which isn't something he normally does with a shootout move, so it was kind of like, 'I don't know what he's going to do here.' It was nice. Nice move that we haven't really seen either in practice from him, so I think he's such a smart offensive player that over the course of a game, I think he recognizes situations and he already starts thinking about how he might be able to beat a goaltender."
