MARK GIORDANO ON TOUGH LOSS:

GIORDANO ON SETTING ATTENTION TO GAME 4:

"We've got to re-group here and stick together as a team, but we know that our compete level, No. 1, has to go way up. We've got to be smarter with our decisions with the puck, our pinches, everything. Everything across the board. There wasn't much good, honestly, throughout the night. (We) made that team look and feel good all night. … We need to come back, re-group, and we need to win this next one."

"They made us pay every time"

MIKE SMITH ON GETTING BACK ON TRACK:

"Everyone has to give a little more. Everybody. Me included. We all have to give a bit more. It's hard. It's hard to win at this time of year and everyone needs to play a little outside their comfort zone to do what it takes to win."

SMITH ON FORGETTING ABOUT THIS ONE:

"You have to. It's one game and it's a long series. They out-worked us tonight, they out-scored us. They were better in a lot of areas but the great thing about the NHL playoffs is you have to win four. So you have to have that mindset."

"Everyone has to give a little more"

TRAVIS HAMONIC ON FALLING BEHIND EARLY:

"We shouldn't have been flat. We should have been going. But we'll respond. We have all year. We'll be ready."

HAMONIC ON TURNING THE PAGE:

"You've got to let it go, you've got to move on. That wasn't even close to a good enough game from us. At the same time, you have to learn from it and move forward. I've said it all year. Doesn't matter anymore. We're starting to prepare for the next game, right now."

"You've got to let it go, you've got to move on"

BILL PETERS ON GIVING UP 56 SHOTS:

"It's us feeding their transition game and getting beat up ice and we're having some trouble sorting it out, obviously, and because of that, they're getting a lot of odd-man rushes. If I could pick an area to clean up, that would be our No. 1 priority."
