Jonathan Huberdeau on the night overall:

"I thought we worked hard tonight, we deserved better. Like I said, we all saw it, I think he made a mistake on that (high-stick) call, not letting that go, call it a goal after. It’s hockey, obviously in the position we’re in, it hurts, like I said we deserved better tonight."

On the effort from his team:

"I think if we stick to the same effort we had tonight, we’ll be fine for the rest of the way. We got to build off that, take a little bit of positive from tonight, and take it for next game."

"We deserved better"

Blake Coleman on the third period:

"We made a good push, you know, I haven’t gotten a good look at it, but the play gets blown dead, maybe could have allowed it to play on, get a review at least to get the right calls, but we let ‘em score right after, so it’s on us to make sure that the momentum didn’t swing their way, but it did. Made some good pushes, but not enough."

On the effort level from the group:

"I thought some guys made some really great plays and had some really good games. Obviously, we’re giving up too much. It’s just the way it’s been going right now, all we can do is continue to work hard, try to get better, I know that’s what I’ll do and the rest of the guys as well."

"We made a good push"

Head Coach Ryan Huska on the night overall:

"I liked the way that we played tonight. It seems funny that the score ends up 5-3, ‘cause I didn’t feel like it was that type of game. I thought we deserved a better fate tonight."

On his group continuing to fight through adversity:

"I thought we kept pushing, and that’s a good thing. You have to make sure that gets ingrained in you, that no matter what the situation is, you keep pushing. And I bet you, to a man, our guys were pleased with the way they pushed, and that’s what we want to see from them."
