COLEMAN ON LESSSONS FROM LAST NIGHT:

ON GETTING RIGHT BACK AT IT TONIGHT:

"Yeah, it's good. Sometimes you want to get into that rhythm and play a lot of games. ... Especially after a loss, you want to bounce back quick. Good test for us, we just saw these guys and we know what we're in for. Just pick out some good spots from last night and go with that."

ON COMMUNICATION/FORECHECK:

"When we're connected, we're a good team. When we break out together, we get it in together. We've had just a lot of broken forechecks and it's leading to a lack of zone time and things like that. We need to be better and tonight, I think, we'll continue to get better moving the puck up as a group and getting it and hunting the puck. Just being a little more connected as a group and having that chemistry we had so much success with last year."

DESIMONE ON NHL DEBUT LAST NIGHT:

"Hair didn't look so great (in the warmup). But was great. Something you dream about and being able to do it, it was pretty surreal. It's a day I'll never forget. It was nice to get and hopefully I'll start adding them on."

ON WHAT HE LEARNED:

"It's a different game. It's tighter, mistakes are magnified and maybe a step faster, obviously. You just try and limit any of those mistakes, move your feet and try to play your game and not think too much."

ON HAVING HIS BROTHER ATTEND THE GAME:

"Growing up, he was a role model for me. He still is. To have him there, it meant the world to me."

SUTTER ON LAST MEETING WITH THE DEVILS:

"I thought we fought back in the game, but it's nice to say, but at the same time, that means there was more fight in their game early, right? They scored quick goals and easy goals on us, quite honest. I just think we have to understand the skill-sets of teams we're playing better and manage that better."

ON LAST NIGHT'S TILT:

"It was a really good effort from our team. Really good. Getting points and that's our plan tonight, too."

ON BACK-TO-BACK GAMES:

"Back to backs, first time. Looking forward to it. You're used to having, what, 12 to 17 a year? We've had the soft schedule in terms of home and all that, so it's good to get in the grind again."
