On facing Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and the Penguins:
"We know how skilled this team is and how fast they are. They've got some unbelievably talented guys on that team. We know have to come out flying to start. We've got to get pucks deep, limit our turnovers to prevent them from transitioning quick and use our speed." - Sam Bennett
"They're the Stanley Cup Champions. We know who they are. But they know who we are now too. I think it's going to set up to be one heck of a game. I think it's going to be a great hockey game." - Glen Gulutzan
"They've had a pretty good run here … I know we won't be going after Malkin early. He seems to thrive off that a little bit so we won't be sending anybody out or anything like that. We want to keep those guys quiet. Certainly, down the middle, you look at their team, it's very strong and it's going to pose a challenge for our side." - Gulutzan
"They're great players. You've got to be aware when they're on the ice, for sure … we try to take away time and space, play a sound structure in our d-zone. Most importantly, keep pucks moving north and trying to put them in our zone and play there." - Mark Giordano

On Dougie Hamilton's injury and his ability to play through it on Saturday:
"He was really 50/50. He was in some discomfort. He got (treated) through it, we pushed him through it. Three assists, he played strong, he played minutes. We shut him down a little bit at the end, just out of precaution. But a real big game for our group, for Dougie to come in and suck it up and play that way." - Gulutzan
"I didn't really know what to expect. I was just happy I was able to play and keep playing." - Hamilton
"If you've got a skate coming down, it's going to cut through anything. You're just hopeful the sock (helps) it … it could have saved my tendon. I'm just lucky it didn't touch my tendon." - Hamilton
Bennett on his physical play in recent games:
"I've never been afraid to drop my gloves. I think this is the most I've ever done it in a season but I've got to do whatever I can to help this team win. Whether that's being involved emotionally and physically, I'll just keep doing whatever I can to help this team win."
"My dad always told me to be the aggressor and guys will back off on you. I think it does help a little bit - gives you a little bit more room. We'll wait and see if it helps."
"I'm happy right now. It's a lot of fun to come to the rink, with the guys winning right now. I feel good in the role. I just want to keep helping this team win."
On Backlund's presence this season:
"He's been solid all year. We put him in lots of difficult situations. He's always against teams' best players. Defensive zone starts … all that stuff you guys talk about and we do too. That whole line has been real solid all year and they're getting rewarded offensively for it."
