Walking down the hallway together to their separate dressing rooms while the ice was flooded, Spencer Foo and Tyler Parsons shared a laugh and some good-natured ribbing.
Only minutes before, much-heralded Flames' prospect Foo deked goaltending standout Parsons out of his skates with a shootout goal in Friday's development camp scrimmage, leading to a chorus of 'Fooooooooooooooooooo' raining down from the excited crowd on hand at Winsport.
Earlier in the scrimmage, it was Parsons who looked fitting wearing a mask as he absolutely robbed Foo on the doorstep by lunging back to keep what looked like a sure-fire goal from crossing the line.

As two of the most high-profile names at development camp, the duo didn't disappoint with the show they put on.
"The save was tough," smiled Foo after. "He was pretty far out of his net and I thought I'd be able to get it around. That's a typical Parsons save right there - just diving back and grabbing it.
"And on the other one he actually kind of had me a bit and I was planning on going backhand and, I don't know, I kind of saw there was nothing there and was able to react quickly and pull it back to the forehand. I don't really know … I guess it looked good."
So what did they say to each other during that chat?
"He's a great kid," said Foo. "We were kind of saying, 'well, we each got one now.' "
Parsons, one of the most competitive hockey players you'll ever see, also wore a broad grin when asked about the on-ice dramatics.
"I think I deserved that one," said Parsons of the goal that was scored on him. "He made a good move on the first one but I ended up getting my glove on it and about six or eight minutes later he left my jockstrap over in the corner. It's one of those things where I gave him a little stick tap there, it was a good move, and props to him, it was a nice little battle there."
