The Calgary Flames announce that they have signed forward Chase Harrington to a three-year, entry-level contract.
Harrington, a Prince George, BC native was named captain of the WHL's Spokane Chiefs for 2026-27, opening his campaign with a goal, two assists and a fight to register a ‘Gordie Howe hat trick’ in a 3-2 win.
The 18-year-old led Spokane in points during the 2025-26 campaign, posting a career-best 57 points from a team-high 28 goals and 29 assists. Harrington would also register 105 penalty minutes in 61 games last season to top his club.
Harrington earned his first NHL preseason game earlier this month, skating for the Flames in Seattle on September 24. He was Calgary’s second round pick (36th overall) at the 2026 NHL Draft.
