The Ducks will unveil a newly remodeled Ducks branded multi-sport rink at Tustin Heritage Park on Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 5 p.m. The Ducks' first multi-sport rink and 12th rink build/remodel will officially open as Ducks staff volunteers and mascot Wild Wing will be on site to present the refurbished rink to local athletes and community members. The unveiling will culminate with an official opening face-off along with games of street hockey, inline hockey and soccer.

Due to the addition of custom-built extendable boards and walls, the newly remodeled rink will be compatible to host multiple sports and activities including street hockey, indoor soccer, futsal and box lacrosse. Along with the rink construction, the Ducks will provide programming support for the city of Tustin's Parks and Recreation Department. In partnership with Tustin Parks and Recreation Department and Landscape Maintenance Department, the Ducks investment in the refurbishment of the multi-sport rink ensures the facility will continue to support the community and grow the game of hockey in Southern California.
"This rink will have a terrific impact on the local community for years to come," said Aaron Teats, Club President of the Anaheim Ducks. "It's a privilege to be a part of initiatives like these, which give our organization another tangible way to echo the values of our owners Henry and Susan Samueli. We look forward to seeing this rink become a hub for a variety of sports and an introduction to the game of hockey for thousands in and around the community of Tustin."
As part of the Anaheim Ducks commitment to making hockey accessible to all members of the community, the Ducks S.C.O.R.E. program will promote the use of the Tustin Heritage Park rink as a community hockey and multi-sport resource for schools involved in the program. Street hockey and inline hockey players, including athletes from The Rinks i3 (Interscholastic, Inline, Initiative) Roller Hockey League, will have access to the rink to continue their hockey playing journeys.
Ducks S.C.O.R.E. offers a three-pronged approach to enrich the education of students: an in-class education program that donates school supplies and includes an incentive-based reading program (Reading is the GOAL), a science & math program (First Flight Field Trip) as well as a street hockey physical education program. S.C.O.R.E. is one of the flagship programs of the Anaheim Ducks Foundation.
