The Ducks have launched a Back to Learning program to kick off the 2020 school year.
They'll also host a Community School Supplies distribution event presented by TCL Sunday, Aug. 30 from 12-4 p.m. at Honda Center. More than 1,500 local students and teachers will receive school supplies for the 2020 school year. School supply kits will include Ducks branded school supplies, including a backpack, dry-erase folder, notebook, TCL headphones, and Clean Snax provided by Melissa's. Teachers will receive TCL headphones and a special Ducks gift bag. Students and teachers will also have the ability to participate in designated photo opportunities. Registrations for the event are at capacity.

The Ducks will host a Locker Room Stick Sale on Friday, Aug. 28 and Saturday, Aug. 29 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Honda Center. Available items include locker room hockey sticks (used, new and autographed). Orange Alliance Members will have an exclusive 10-11 a.m. time slot during the sale.
In support of the nonprofit organization Stand Up For Kids, the Ducks will host a school supply donation drive during the Ducks Locker Room Stick Sale on Friday, Aug. 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Honda Center. All fans who donate to the school supplies donation drive will be entered to win a Ducks Captains Prize Pack including a Ryan Getzlaf autographed jersey, Jakob Silfverberg autographed mini stick and Josh Manson autographed hat (one entry per donor).
Stand Up For Kids strives to end the cycle of youth homelessness by supporting unaccompanied homeless and at-risk youth, along with young parents with children of their own, through outreach, mentoring and housing programs. School essentials items needed to support homeless youth include backpacks, No. 2 pencils, black and blue pens, notebooks, journals, composition books, highlighters, index cards, lined and graph paper, rulers, folders, binders, pencil pouches and scientific calculators. The Ducks have launched a S.C.O.R.E. at Home program that provides a variety of educational and recreational activities for students of all ages. S.C.O.R.E. at Home includes a Street Hockey Program of street hockey lessons from Ducks players and staff, a Captain's Challenge to stay active, Reading is the Goal lessons, First Flight Field Trip program lessons, the Anaheim Ducks i3 (Interscholastic, Inline, Initiative) Roller Hockey League activities, and Wild Wingers Kids Club virtual and printable activities.
