We enter week two of our Road to the Draft series for the brand new New Jersey Devils Official Podcast. This week, host Matt Loughlin and guest co-host Amanda Stein have two special guests in Devils goaltender Cory Schneider and Director of Player and Team Development Dr. Aimee Kimball.

"My job is to look at the team as a whole and organization as a whole and try to get us as successful as we can. Working with individual players, getting them to make sure they're reaching their potential, working on their consistency and mental toughness," Dr. Aimee Kimball said in the podcast, adding some information on the overall club philosophy when it comes to drafting.
"One of the things we're really trying to do right now is we're building a team. We're not just building a group of really good hockey players. And there's a difference because you'll see teams with immense talent but they don't excel. We firmly believe that if you have the right culture, you're going to maximize whatever talent you have."

Cory Schneider discussed a number of topics with Matt and Amanda, including his long road to recovery which took a turn for the better near the end of the season.
