Tonight marks the fourth and final contest between New Jersey and Carolina in the 2018-19 regular season.

Devils blueliner Connor Carrick will also suit up in his 200th NHL game. Carrick has tallied 11 goals, and 31 helpers for 41 points in seven years.
Zacha (3G-1A) leads the Devils in scoring against the Hurricanes with four points in three games played. Nico Hischier holds the most assist against Carolina this season with three. Nino Niederreiter (2A) leads his club with two points in the season series.
Cory Schneider is 6-5-1 against Carolina in his career, allowing 24 goals, posting a 1.92 GAA. Mackenzie Blackwood earned his first career shutout against Carolina on Dec. 29th stopping all 37 shots against.
