New Jersey Devils defenseman John Moore has a concussion and was placed on injured reserve Sunday.
The Devils recalled defenseman Steven Santini from Albany of the American Hockey League.

Moore was taken off the ice on a stretcher early in the first period of New Jersey's 6-2 loss to the Washington Capitals on Saturday. Moore fell awkwardly into the boards after a hit by Capitals forward Tom Wilson 3:10 into the game and remained on the ice for several minutes until he was strapped to a board. Some teammates helped to steady the stretcher as Moore was lowered onto it.
He was taken to a hospital for evaluation and released.
Moore, 26, has 13 points (five goals, eight assists) in 37 games this season.
Santini, New Jersey's second-round pick (No. 42) in the 2013 NHL Draft, played one NHL game with the Devils last season. The 21-year-old has no points in 15 games with Albany this season.
