New Jersey has assigned D Mirco Mueller to Binghamton (AHL) on a conditioning assignment. Mueller suffered a broken left clavicle on Nov. 12, 2017 against the Chicago Blackhawks.
Mueller underwent successful surgery to repair the injury on Nov. 16 and was given an expected recovery time of 10-12 weeks. The defenseman rejoined the Devils for practice on Jan. 12 and met with the media for the first time following his injury.
Mirco Mueller has appeared in 13 games this season for the Devils and has two assists. He joins the Binghamton Devils today, who visit on the Springfield Thunderbirds on Friday night and host the Toronto Marlies on Saturday night.
