MONTREAL - Will Bitten and the Hamilton Bulldogs got their first win of the 2018 Memorial Cup tournament despite the best efforts of Swift Current Broncos netminder Stuart Skinner.

Skinner made 54 saves on Monday night, but the Bulldogs managed to squeak two goals by him to prevail 2-1.

Bitten was responsible for six of his team's 56 shots on net, but did not record any points. He finished with a plus-1 differential.
Hamilton won't have to wait long for their next contest, as they take on the as-yet undefeated Acadie-Bathurst Titan on Tuesday night in Regina.
