Galchenyuk-Markov

MONTREAL - The Canadiens will head to Winnipeg on Tuesday afternoon to battle the Jets on Wednesday night, but they'll be making the trip without six injured players in tow.

David Desharnais (knee), Alex Galchenyuk (knee), Brendan Gallagher (hand), Andrei Markov (lower body), Greg Pateryn (foot) and Andrew Shaw (concussion) will remain in Montreal.
Galchenyuk, Markov and Shaw started practicing with their teammates again over the last few days.
The Canadiens will play two games in as many nights on this trip, as they also go up against the Wild on Thursday night in Minnesota, before returning home.
The Canadiens still rank first in the Atlantic Division with 56 points in 41 games, and are nine points clear of the Boston Bruins, who've played two more games than they have so far this year.
