Numbers Game

MONTREAL - Here's a numerical look at Tuesday night's game against the Panthers at the Bell Centre.

43 - With an assist on the first goal of the game by Tomas Tatar, defenseman Jeff Petry set a new career-high with his 43rd point of the season. The Ann Arbor, MI native set his previous single-season high last year with 12 goals and 30 assists. He's just one goal away from matching his single-season high in that department.

4 - Brett Kulak became the fourth Canadiens defenseman to score at least five goals this season courtesy of his point blast during the opening frame. The three other defensemen to hit the plateau this year are Shea Weber (13), Petry (11) and Jordie Benn (5).

50 - With a helper on Kulak's tally, Jordan Weal hit the 50-point plateau for his NHL career. Weal, who joined the Canadiens at the trade deadline, has two goals and six points in 11 games with Montreal.
12 - Artturi Lehkonen became the 12th Canadiens player this season to score at least 10 goals. It was the third straight season that Lehkonen accomplished the feat. It's the first time since the 1993-94 campaign that the Habs boast at least 12 players with 10 goals or more.

20 - Danault snapped a 20-game goal drought with his goal during the second period. The centerman is just one point away from reaching the 50-point plateau for the first time in his career. He has 12 goals and 49 points this season.
57 - With his second goal of the game in the first period and his assist on Danault's marker, Tatar surpassed his career-high with his 57th point. The Slovak sniper set his previous mark during the 2014-15 season as a member of the Detroit Red Wings. He also reached the 25-goal plateau for the third time in his career.

18 - Number of times this season that the Canadiens have scored five or more goals. It's the first time since the 1993-94 campaign that the Habs have scored at least five goals in 18 contests.
