MONTREAL - Phillip Danault may have just come off a career-best 53-point season in which he won a team-leading 55.5% of his draws, but it turns out his skill set reaches far beyond the confines of an NHL ice surface.

The 26-year-old took to his
personal Instagram
story on Tuesday to show off his skills tickling the ivory - with a little help from his better half, Marie-Pierre.
The pair jammed out to a rendition of the jazz classic "Heart and Soul", while Phillip for his part threw down a piano duel challenge to teammate - and fellow musician - Matthew Peca.
Peca of course is no stranger to sheet music, having already serenaded Habs fans with a Christmas medley over the holidays.

He also wrapped up his interview with "Rogatien" with a little jingle, albeit on some unconventional equipment.
