MONTREAL - Participating in the "Rise Together" initiative was a "no-brainer" for Chris Nilan.

The former Canadiens forward and 1986 Stanley Cup champion is eager to help raise funds to support frontline healthcare workers and those impacted by COVID-19.

Outbid the competition for Nilan's "Rise Together" auction item, and you'll get to experience a day in the life of one of the most beloved Habs alums from the past 40 years.

Kick things off with a visit to TSN 690 studios in Montreal where you and a guest will enjoy front row seats for Chris' weekday "Off the Cuff" radio show.

"It'll be fun. We'll make them feel right at home. We're going to give them a real inside look into radio," said Nilan, who played 523 regular-season games with the Canadiens over the course of his career. "A lot of times people are just in their car and they flip on the radio, they hear the voices, but do they really know what's going on? So this gives them a real glimpse into how things operate. We want them to enjoy themselves."

Some air time could be on tap, with the man affectionately known as "Knuckles" asking you and your guest to share your love of the CH with his loyal listeners.

There's no need to be shy, folks!

"I'll keep them entertained when they come in," insisted Nilan.

The fun doesn't end there, though, because you and your guest will then hit up the Bell Centre press box alongside Nilan to catch a game and tour the TSN 690 broadcast booth directly above the ice.

Broadcasters Dan Robertson and Sergio Momesso will be there to welcome you with open arms.

"We'll see how they prepare," explained Nilan. "They'll certainly have their game sheets out, knowing who the visiting team players are and there'll be a little blurb about each player. They're pretty detailed about that, so you'll get an inside look at what really happens on game day."

And who knows… the odds are pretty good you might just rub elbows with some of Chris' old teammates while you're in the building!

Sounds like fun, right?
