MONTREAL - While the Habs may call Montreal home during the season, they'll never forget where they came from. Long before Jeremiah Addison first hit the ice in the pros, he was taking his first strides toward stardom back home in Brampton, Ontario. Check out Jeremiah's insider guide to the must-sees back in his hometown.

BEST HANGOUT:
It's probably my buddy Kosta's house. That was the house growing up. We always used to go there. He's the only one with a pool. It was right by our middle school where we played basketball. That was the spot, for sure. He's still one of my best friends. We met in school. I was actually getting bullied and he came and hung out with me.
FAVORITE RESTAURANT:
Vishnu's Doubles and Roti Shop. It's a West Indian place. My mom is Trinidadian and my dad is Jamaican, so being a West Indian boy, that's a good spot to get some food. The veggie roti is my go-to dish.
BEST PLACE TO GO SHOPPING:
There aren't really any great places to go shopping. I guess
Bramalea City Centre
would probably be the spot. I was never really a mall kid, but that's probably the best place to go.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL:
Esker Lake Public School. It was Grade 1 to Grade 6. My sisters were legends there. Everywhere I went, people would always talk to me about my sisters. It was never about me. They always had good grades and they were track stars. For middle school, Katlyn ended up going to a high-performance school for the arts. Anastasia went to a high-performance school for soccer.

HOME ARENA AS A KID:
Brampton Memorial Arena. My first ever Junior game was with the Brampton Capitals. They're not in the OJHL anymore. That's where I played my first Junior game. That rink is special. I had Brampton tryouts there, all that stuff. That was definitely the old barn, wood ceilings. You walk in and you smell it.
WHAT IT'S FAMOUS FOR:
We've had some good hockey players come through there. Even the Brampton Battalion, everyone knew the green helmets. Everyone knows the Powerade Centre, too.
