Max Pacioretty

MONTREAL - Forward Max Pacioretty is the Molson Cup recipient for the month of January (12 points). He succeeds forward Phillip Danault and defenseman Jeff Petry who were the Molson Cup award co-winners for December. Pacioretty earns the Molson Cup award of the month for the fifth time of his career (January 2012, November 2013, February-March 2014 and December 2015).

Pacioretty was a first star selection four times (January 3 in Nashville, January 4 at Dallas, January 14 versus NYR and January 31 against Buffalo). Pacioretty finished ahead of teammates Alexander Radulov and Carey Price.
In 14 games in January, the Canadiens captain had a 9-3-12 point total. The 28-year-old forward ranked first on the team and second in the NHL in goals. He led the team with two game-winning goals and 52 shots (fifth in the NHL). Pacioretty added two powerplay markers.
Max Pacioretty will be presented with the Molson Cup during a ceremony prior to the game on Saturday, February 4, against the Washington Capitals at the Bell Centre.
