Artturi Lehkonen - Panel

MONTREAL - Finland was declared the happiest country in the world on Wednesday, according to the 2018 edition of the World Happiness Report.

We don't know if Artturi Lehkonen and Antti Niemi were made aware of the news, but we're fairly certain that both Finns were all smiles after playing starring roles in Tuesday night's win over the Dallas Stars at the Bell Centre.
Lehkonen, of course, led the way for the Canadiens on offense with his third multi-goal game of the season, beating fellow countryman Kari Lehtonen with his seventh and eighth goals on the year.

The 22-year-old forward is heating up, chipping in with three goals in his last three games.

Niemi, meanwhile, stood tall in between the pipes with a 36-save effort to earn his fifth win of the season.
Since joining the Canadiens in mid-November, Niemi's numbers really do speak for themselves. In 14 appearances - including 12 starts - the Vantaa native boasts a 5-2-4 record, along with a 2.30 goals-against average and a .933 save percentage.

Prior to Tuesday night's tilt, the veteran netminder was presented with the Molson Cup for the month of February, so things are definitely trending in the right direction for the one-time Stanley Cup champ.
As for the report, which was generated by the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network, it ranked 156 countries by their happiness levels and 117 countries by the happiness of their immigrants. Finland finished atop both categories.
For its part, Canada was listed as the seventh happiest country across the globe, while the United States ranked 18th.
