MONTREAL - Here's a look at Monday's action at the 2018 IIHF World Hockey Championship in Denmark.

USA vs. Germany
Team USA handed Germany their third straight loss on Monday - albeit their first in regulation - shutting out Markus Eisenschmid and co. in Herning.
Patrick Kane, Derek Ryan, and Alex DeBrincat found the back of the net for the Americans, who remain undefeated in three preliminary-round contests. Eisenschmid skated for 13:14 against the Americans, registering one shot on goal and an even differential.
Keith Kinkaid was in nets for Team USA with Scott Darling backing him up, meaning Charlie Lindgren once again did not dress.
Sweden vs. France
Jacob de la Rose and Team Sweden remain undefeated after securing their third straight win of the tournament, a 4-0 victory over France. Rickard Rakell scored just 24 seconds after puck drop, and the Swedes followed with goals from Mikael Backlund, Oliver Ekman-Larsson, and Elias Petterson.
De la Rose saw 14:36 of ice time on Monday but was held off the scoresheet, recording no shots and an even differential.
Canada vs. Denmark
Six different scorers lit the lamp for Team Canada in a 7-1 win over the hosts at Jyske Bank Boxen. Josh Bailey, Aaron Ekblad, Jordan Eberle, Ryan O'Reilly, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (twice), and Tyson Jost were the goal-scorers for the Canadians, while Jesper Jensen Aabo replied for the Danes.
Curtis McElhinney was between the pipes for Team Canada, who picked up their second win of the preliminaries.
