MONTREAL -- Prospects Kaiden Guhle and Joshua Roy were invited to Team Canada's World Junior Selection Camp on Wednesday.

The camp, which includes 21 forwards, 11 defensemen and three goaltenders, will be held in Calgary from December 9 - 12.
Canada is hosting the 2022 World Junior Championship in Edmonton and Red Deer from December 26 - January 5.
Guhle, 19, enjoyed a solid campaign for the WHL's Prince Albert Raiders before being traded to the Edmonton Oil Kings on Wednesday afternoon.
The physical defenseman led his former club in scoring with 15 points (2 goals, 13 assists) in 17 games.

Guhle, who captained the Raiders, helped Canada claim a silver medal at last year's event in his hometown of Edmonton with three points (2 goals, 1 assist) in seven contests.
He was selected 16th overall by Montreal in the 2020 NHL Draft.
Roy, 18, has been an offensive machine for the QMJHL's Sherbrooke Phoenix this season.
The speedy forward, who hails from Saint-Georges-de-Beauce, QC, currently leads the League in scoring with 39 points (14 goals, 25 assists) in 21 games.

Seventeen of those points (5 goals, 12 assists) have come on the power play.
Roy was selected in the fifth round (150th overall) by Montreal in the 2021 NHL Draft.
