Canadiens to make 2023-24 debut at Red vs. White scrimmage on Sept. 24

MONTREAL - The Canadiens announced on Thursday the details surrounding their Red vs. White intrasquad scrimmage presented by IGA.

The event, which will be held Sunday, Sept. 24 at 1:00 p.m., marks fans' first chance to potentially see newcomers Alex Newhook and first-round draft pick David Reinbacher on the ice at the Bell Centre, in addition to the likes of familiar faces Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, Kaiden Guhle, Arber Xhekaj, Mike Matheson, Samuel Montembeault, and many others.

Tickets are on sale now starting at $10 on a first-come, first-served basis by heading to participating IGA supermarkets and asking for a coupon at checkout, which will grant access to an exclusive presale until Aug. 30. No in-store purchase is required. Tickets can be purchased using the QR code on the coupon.

Club 1909 members and Canadiens Nation newsletter subscribers can also take advantage of an exclusive ticket presale on Aug. 31 and Sept. 1. Click here to subscribe. Canadiens and Laval Rocket season ticket holders will likewise have access to a presale.

All remaining tickets will be on sale from Sept. 2 to 24 via canadiens.com.

As with previous editions, proceeds from the Red vs. White scrimmage will benefit local charities; 50% will go to the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation, and 50% will go to La Tablée des Chefs, an organization dedicated to fighting food insecurity and educating youth to develop food autonomy.
