In Our Blood
Shortly after the Bruins clinched a playoff berth this year, the team released an extension of last season's brand campaign, "In Our Blood," with a focus on the "Diehards" - the Bruins avid and loyal fan base. The first spot celebrates the different types of Diehards from the Comfortable Commentator to the Faithful. The second spot, titled "Listen to No One," features the young talent of this Bruins team over a radio broadcast of Michael Felgerfrom earlier in the season calling the team too young and predicting their season was over. The creative was developed in partnership with Boston-based advertising agency MMB. Throughout the Boston Bruins Playoffs presented by JetBlue, more In Our Blood "Diehard" videos and content will roll out encouraging fans to join the conversation and add their own Diehard photos on social using #InOurBlood for a chance to win Bruins tickets and prizes.
Fan Banner
The giant Bruins flag has been traditionally passed by fans before all Bruins playoff games since 2009. In past seasons, inspirational figures including Bruins legends, first responders, individuals affected by the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing and others have served as honorary captains to start the banner's trip around TD Garden's Loge section. This season the honor will go to various Boston Champions who are deeply connected to the city and the greater New England community.
